To Fishead is to act with selfish disregard
and without empathy towards the society around you. |
WHAT'S WRONG WITH OUR WORLD?
THIS IS A FILM FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO KNOW. 'We have coined the term Fishead as a metaphor for the fundamental devastating wrongs our society faces today. Fishead is synonymous with these words: problem, devastating, fundamental, selfish, disregard, irresponsible, uncaring, lack of empathy, psychopathic, wrong, mindless, and apathy.' - Misha Votruba and Vaclav Dejcmar, the inspirational makers of Fishead. |
I, Psychopath
'If we believe in the fundamental goodness of man, we are doomed.'

Well worth watching - a less intense look at the world of the corporate psychopath than Fishead, but perhaps more enlightening.

The self-described narcissistic psychopath Sam Vaknin is the subject of this film.
He is unusual in that he is highly intelligent, incredibly self-aware and willing to share his insights into successful psychopaths like himself.
He confirms that psychopaths regard people as 'instruments of gratification' and 'as disposable things to be used'.
He also gives remarkably frank comments about his long term 'relationship' with Lidija, his spouse of ten years; she is merely a non-person who performs the function of narcissistic supply to the egotistical Sam.
It is more of an arrangement than anything we would recognize as a relationship.
He also spends much of the time off screen manipulating and bullying the filmmaker, yet his on screen charm might lead you to think he is not actually a psychopath at all.
But you'd be wrong...
